I am especially grateful to Gordon Paton and Frank Zirone, who produced “ CHAN BRONTE’ MEETS BILLY THE KID”. This rendition was born on Sept. 2009 in Toronto, Canada. The song was originally recorded in the 80’s, on a cassette recorder, on our kitchen table. Gord and Frank played a key role in this project for Hank, and continue to play a role in keeping my Father’s name alive, even after his passing on May 7, 1996. It would have been a thrill of a lifetime for Hank to hear this recording of his song.
To-day, I know you’ll agree, Hank Rivers still has “ Something to Sing About.
